Learning Objectives:
Examine Infection Prevention Standards for the Practice of Electrolysis
Demonstrate proper hand hygiene and the appropriate use of PPE
Apply principles of cleansing, disinfection, and sterilization to instrument processing according to the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) and the American Electrology Association (AEA) Infection Prevention Standards.
Upon completion of this lecture, attendees will be able to implement proper aseptic technique in their professional practice of electrolysis based on current regulations and guidelines.
Attendees must be visible on camera to receive full credit for the CEUs.
Students will not receive CEUs.
