Electrolysis Tissue Injury: From Normal to Extreme Reactions, with Joanie Gonella CPE
Performing electrolysis is much more than just permanently removing hairs. A successful electrologist must navigate the fine line between efficient treatments and the possible side effects of the current on the skin. While electrology treatments are not without normal skin reactions, extreme skin reactions should be avoided. In this lecture we will look at possible normal side effects, what happens to the healing skin and what type of reactions should be avoided.
How to Become a Content Creator and Level Up Your Digital Presence in 2022 with Anna Norman
Are you using social media but not seeing results? Do you stare at your phone, perplexed at what to actually post? Are you convinced that electrologists don’t need to be on social media at all?
In our current age of constant media consumption (the average American spends 2.5 hours a day on social media!), becoming a content creator is an effective (and arguably essential) way to level-up your business without draining your energy or your time.
Learn how to build your personal brand, engage confidently as the face of your business, and create your own social media and marketing materials without hiring an expensive graphic designer or social media manager. You will walk away with real-world strategies to educate, inspire, and connect with future and current clients and harness the undeniable reach of social media in a way that works for you.
Smooth Operator
The objective of this lecture is to introduce and elaborate on the many facets of the growing industry of non invasive aesthetic medicine which ultimately is the patient having a smooth youthful appearance. The audience will gain knowledge about the technology, technique and desired outcomes for procedures including the use of injectables, energy devices, medical grade skin care, and microneedling. It will also include information regarding safety and possible adverse events with each topic of discussion.

Thermolysis or Blend? The Right Choice, Every Time
Most Electrolysis devices on the market offer the possibility to perform Thermolysis and Blend treatments. While some work exclusively with Thermolysis, others swear only by Blend to remove all hairs. The modern Electrologists=however is able to identify the right technique according to different factors that are evaluated prior to the treatment. These specific factors and situations will be presented in the lecture enabling the attendee to obtain the perfect efficiency/comfort ratio every time.
